It wont log in without bringing it to the foreground. Not sure if any iOS program can do that, though.

Number rewriting doesnt work. Even if I set it to strip "()" and "-" symbols, it wont. This makes it fail to dial contacts unless you change the phone numbers for all of them manually. For example, a phone number like "1-555-333-4444" needs to be written as "15553334444" to work in callcenteric.com, but. Zoiper cant do that.
